Instituto Franklin-UAH collaborates with the Consortium of Transatlantic
Studies and Scholarship (CTSS) to offer a special program in International
Studies. We are currently holding a Call for Courses for Spring 2020, so
interested faculty members of your institution could come teach their course
in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. We are looking for faculty to teach a 45 hour
course (3 credits) in the fields of social sciences, humanities, and
professional studies with a comparative transatlantic perspective, but we
are also open to receiving proposals from different fields. Faculty would
teach their course for 3 weeks and in English. This is an excellent
opportunity for professional development and research.
Selected faculty will receive:
• Free housing in Alcalá de Henares during the program provided
by Instituto Franklin-UAH.
• $1,000 grant for travel expenses.
• Onsite support during your stay.
• Invitation to participate in the cultural visits organized by
Instituto Franklin-UAH.
• Office space for your own research.
• Permission to use the National Library, UAH bibliographic
resources and other archives in Alcalá de Henares.
