Québec Dimensions Summer Teachers Institute
Montréal and Ottawa
The 2017 Quebec Dimensions Summer Institute will offer professional development for six days divided between Montréal, one of the largest French speaking cities in the world and Ottawa, the nation’s bilingual capital. The Institute begins and ends in Montréal, June 25-30, 2017. (Institute content will be delivered in English)
“Québec and the Evolution of Canada” is a unique professional development opportunity providing participants with foundations in history and geography plus contemporary cultural insights through first-hand experience. The content is taught by academic specialists and is designed to support educators of: Canadian Studies, World History, Comparative Cultures, AP History, IB History of the Americas, North American Geography, & all levels of French language curriculum.
Registration: US$699 covers transportation during the Institute, lecturer fees, admission to educational sites, curriculum materials, double-occupancy at four star hotels, and some meals.
Participants will earn a 40-hour clock hour certificate. For an additional fee and a final project, 1 graduate credit may be obtained.
