Granada, Spain: Master's Degree for Spanish Teachers from US and Canada

During the summers of 2007-2008, I completed this Masters program. The experience truly proved to be worth every penny for me!

MASTER'S DEGREE IN THE TEACHING/LEARNING OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE AND ITS CULTURE (SPECIFIC DEGREE TO THE UNIVERSITY OF GRANADA)

Master's Degree for Spanish Teachers from EEUU and Canada
This Master's Degree course is aimed at teachers of the following types of courses; Spanish as a foreign language; bilingual programs; immersion programs; Spanish for native speakers; US and Canadian K-12 Grade, Community College and University programs.

Its aim is to provide theoretical and practical resources fundamental to improving a teacher's classroom performance in Spanish language teaching. The Master's Degree course consists of two presencial parts of 23 ECTS credits. The content includes diverse aspects of modern Spanish economy and society, important cultural topics, teaching resources for the Spanish language classroom, Spanish for business, art, history, and Spanish literature among others. In the second part of the course, the student will carry out a research project.

Classroom lessons will be complemented with various other activities, such as cultural visits and excursions.
