The Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship Program

Are you a strong proponent of geographic education? The Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship Program in conjunction with the National Geographic Education Associatin and Lindbald eExpeditions may present the most prefect travel options for you. LIVFund Scholarships

LIVFund is offering a $500 scholarship application program for volunteer/intern positions abroad in various world-wide locations. Check out the website for further details and eligibility requirements.

US/Canada: K-12 Study Canada Summer Institute

Here's one that might work especially well for French and Social Studies teachers, though I am still going to give it a shot: Two Washington State Universities in conjunction with the US Department of Education sponsor a K-12 Study Canada Summer Institute annually. Though not completely free and possibly requiring travel costs, the pricing is pretty standard. There is also a scholarship available to apply for. Check it out! Maybe I will see you there... :-)
