ACTFL, AATSP and other language organizations

Are you a member of any language teaching organizations? ACTFL and AATSP are two national organizations. There are also many other regional associations as well- just complete a Google search for them. Be sure to check out their scholarship pages for information, and join their listservs for updates on various opportunities.

Listservs in general are a great way to find out about other available experiences. Here is one of my favorites:

Please feel free to comment with any others that you may know of. ¡Gracias!

Spain: VaughanTown

Image result for vaughan systems imagesMuch like angloville and Diverbo/Pueblo Inglés, this is a one week, English language teaching camp/program housed in different Spanish cities. Native English speakers receive free accommodations and meals in exchange for their speaking with Spanish residents. They merely pay transportation costs to Spain from their resident country.

Check it out at http://volunteers.grupovaughan.com/what-we-do/vaughan-town.

There is a similar program to Brazil as well.
